    Born 25 August 1964 in Salford.
    Formed the group Cindy & The Saffrons which was made up of Joanne Whalley as "Cindy"
    and Lindsay Neil and Sally Stairs as The Saffrons
    In 1982 at Abbey Road Studios they recorded the Shangri-Las song "Past, Present and Future"
    and the next year, "Terry" by Twinkle
    The group split up soon after and Joanne went on to become an actress
    Married to Val Kilmer 1988 - 1996 now divorced. Two children Mercedes & Jack
